CAME is one of the best-known Italian names in gate automation, and you'll find CAME motors on homes, apartment blocks and business premises all over Cumbria. If yours has stopped behaving, I can help – whoever installed it.
What I repair on CAME systems
- Swing gate motors – overground and underground
- Sliding gate motors – including worn gears and racks
- Control boards – faults after water, lightning or old age, and settings that have drifted
- Photocells and safety edges – the usual cause of gates that won't close
- Remotes and receivers – replacements, recoding and range issues
- Keypads and access control
CAME Gate Motor Repairs Across Cumbria
CAME is the automation we install ourselves, so we know it inside out. We also repair CAME systems fitted by other installers, from older models to the latest range – motors, control boards, remotes and safety devices.

Because we fit CAME on our own installations, we keep common parts close to hand, which helps get your gate moving again sooner.
Repairing CAME Automatic Gates, Old and New
Older CAME systems can often be kept going for years with the right repair, and we'll tell you honestly if a part is no longer worth replacing.
If you're considering an upgrade, we can fit new CAME automation with our 3-year parts and labour warranty, usually on your existing gates. That's how we finish every job, on every brand, across Carlisle and Cumbria.
Older CAME systems
Plenty of CAME gates around here have been going for years. Some older parts are still available; where they're not, a compatible modern control board or motor can often bring the system back to life without starting again. I'll give you the options and prices so you can decide.
Before you call
Check the simple things first – power, remote batteries and dirty photocells. See electric gate troubleshooting. Then send over a photo of the motor and control box and a short video of the fault.
